What does the 30-day free trial include?

Everything in the Monthly plan — all class tests, detailed progress reports, and full answer explanations. No credit card needed. After 30 days, choose to subscribe or your access pauses.

Are teachers really free forever?

Yes — creating classes, assigning tests from the question bank, viewing basic class stats, managing your roster (a generous fair-use ceiling that no single teacher realistically reaches; larger institutions use a School plan), the copy-pattern check, and the what-if class average simulator cost nothing, forever. Paid plans unlock detailed analytics, needs-attention alerts, test analysis, auto-calibrated difficulty tags, and the PTM prep pack. Basic (₹299/mo) unlocks all of that plus peer-pairing suggestions. Pro (₹999/mo) adds the AI lesson plan generator, early access to new features, and the fastest support response.

How do I cancel?

Cancel any time. You keep access until the end of your billing period — no partial refunds, no surprise charges.

Is my payment secure?

All payments are processed by Razorpay, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We never store your card details.

How do school plans work?

School plans cover all teachers and students under one account. Teachers join with your org code and automatically get full paid analytics (avg scores, needs-attention alerts, test analysis) — no separate teacher subscription needed. One flat annual rate, no per-seat fees. Small schools can also start on Classroom Free — no card, no time limit — and upgrade whenever they outgrow 30 students or 1 teacher.

How do the achievement badges and rewards work?

Every student on any plan — including free — earns badges automatically as they learn. No manual claiming needed. Diamond badges (the hardest tier) extend your yearly plan by 3 months, verified server-side with a 180-day cooldown between extensions. Full rules at thecrisp.in/achievements.

Do parents need their own account to see their child's progress?

No — there's no parent login at all. A student generates a private read-only link from their profile (no account, no app) that a parent can open any time to see weekly progress, class or platform standing, and more. It's free on every plan. Growth+ schools and paying student subscriptions add an automated weekly email with an AI-written summary, optionally also delivered on WhatsApp.
