Everything is automatic
Badges are checked server-side at three trigger points: when you submit a test, when your daily streak updates, and when you complete a Revision Deck session. There is no way to manually claim a badge or trigger a check outside of these events.

When you earn a Diamond badge, the system immediately re-verifies you still meet the criteria (e.g., your 365-day streak is real, your 200 tests were genuinely submitted). If verified, your plan is extended by 3 months — no ticket, no code, no wait.
automatic, not manualThe 180-day cooldown
There is a mandatory 180-day gap between plan extensions. If you earn a second Diamond badge within 180 days of a previous extension, the badge is still yours permanently — but its plan reward does not apply until 180 days have passed since the last extension. Plan accordingly if you are chasing multiple Diamond badges.

A plan extension only applies to an active or soon-to-cancel subscription. Extensions always calculate from your current plan expiry date — not today — so earning a Diamond badge never shortens a plan you already paid for.

Each badge can be earned exactly once. The database enforces this with a unique constraint — no duplicate badges, no matter how many times you meet the criteria. Your badge history is a permanent record of your journey.

The rarest badge requires three conditions to be true simultaneously at the moment of a streak update: 200 or more total tests submitted, an average score of 80% or above across your last 100 tests, and an active streak of 90+ consecutive days. Reaching two out of three does not count — all three must align.
